MORNING STAR WOMENS (AND MENS) MINISTRY

God brings exciting changes to the life of Joy Bennington, our Crave women’s ministry lead. And she proves obedient to follow Him!

As of August 1, 2021, Joy steps down as the lead of Morning Star’s women’s ministry. God used her mightily in this role, and grew her heart and work for Him as well. But change comes as He calls her to focus on other ministries. (Ask her about it! She loves to share God stories.)

The women’s online Facebook Bible study will continue to be led by Joy. YES! What a heart she has for helping women dig into God’s Word! Watch for changes in the look of the page and possibly the location. But the content remains just as powerful and meaningful as it has been.

What about women’s ministry? Morning Star believes God calls it to a new direction also. When God lays a women’s outing, activity or event on your heart, talk with your small group (or get connected with one if you are not currently in one) about sponsoring and organizing that activity. Is the event larger? Partner two or more small groups to make it happen!

And men, we have not forgotten you! This is a great way for men’s outings, activities and events to take place as well. Many have expressed missing them. So take that longing, and put it to action!

At Morning Star, we are excited to watch God use the body to encourage women and men, and for each of you to be released to ministry. We are grateful for Joy and all she adds to this body of Christ. God certainly plans to use her obedience and heart going forward. Thank you, Joy!
