The Parks.

Dating at age 15 and married at 20, Jonathan and Michelle Park set on a journey marked by faith. Four children (Victoria, Olivia, Johnny and Bella) later, life runs at a quick pace for these teen sweethearts. Did they imagine mom-kid dance parties or simply being grateful for a day to be together?

The youngest Park flashes one radiant, contagious smile. The family draws encouragement from her. And, their longest running prayer? Healing from her spina bifida. A recent answer to this prayer means no shunt or spinal surgery for Bella! Pray with them for good results of her recent foot surgery.

The Parks grab every chance to hang out and joke around together, preferably in the Outer Banks! They also work hard together — including enduring the highs and lows of home renovations. And they build tradition into the fabric of their family. Be inspired: Ask them about their yearly celebration of the Lord’s Passover meal.

Jonathan serves as an elder at Morning Star and takes an active role in STARs ministry. Michelle can be found serving anywhere in women’s, children’s and youth ministry. Top that off with a family small group! The kids work and play in STARs, children’s and youth ministry. But serving together sparks extra joy for this family.

The Parks identify most with the biblical family of Isaac and Rebecca — good workers serving in the background. They look to their parents as spiritual heroes. If you get a chance to meet their parents, you see their heart for God and service to others emulated in this family.
